Mosquitoes in Northern Utah

What Are Mosquitoes?

Mosquitoes are biting flies that breed in standing water. Female mosquitoes require a blood meal to reproduce. Northern Utah's peak season runs May through September, with highest pressure near Utah Lake, the Jordan River, and irrigation canals.
